Lovingkindness

Answer me, O Lord, for Your lovingkindness is good; According to the greatness of Your compassion, turn to me Psalm 69:16

There is something refreshing about knowing that God can answer prayer. We can have reliance on the Holy Spirit, because of the lovingkindness of the Lord, because His compassion is great. Now is the time of seeking the Lord. With patience, we can ask Jesus and what a surprise when we find God answering prayer!

Lord Jesus, I want to seek you. Thank you for your lovingkindness and compassion.

Apply oneself

When you apply the principles in the Word in community, what happens is only what God can do. That sense of awe of God is revival fire. Thank God for the ability to pray and have fellowship with believers. Have you ever been on the edge of your seat as someone preaches? That hunger for God is always met with the Holy Spirit’s annointing. Annointing to bless and build up others.

Thanks Jesus for your awesome presence. Help me stay in wonder of you and to apply the principles in your Word. Amen.

Have faith

Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:22-24

Whenever you ask in prayer for something in Jesus’ name, and you believe, you will receive that. The scripture encourages us to have faith in God. What can you believe in God for today? There might be a mountain that is before you that you can see cast into the sea.

Thanks Jesus for every opportunity to believe in faith for something. Help me to lean on you in everything. Amen.

Near to Jesus

But as for me, the nearness of God is my good; I have made the Lord God my refuge, That I may tell of Your works. Psalm 73:28

Being close to the Lord is good. When you purpose in your heart to draw near to Jesus, that is a place you can proclaim His greatness with authenticity. In God, you are his beloved, precious child and friend. What is something you could do today to bless your relationship with Jesus?

Continual praise

How blessed are those who dwell in Your house! They are ever praising You. Selah. Psalm 84:4

Living in the courts of the Lord is a blessed life! There is such wonder near Jesus. So much that you want to continually praise! As you go about your day, know that God is with you, He lights the way. We can live in close fellowship with Jesus, delighting in the Lord. What are some things you can praise Jesus about?

Purpose of God

O Lord, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name; For you have worked wonders, Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness. Isaiah 25:1

The purpose of God is like a promise that we can live our lives towards. God leads us in His victory. Can you think of a rhema word God has given you, that He has worked wonders to bring that to pass. Every time you remember something, that’s cause for thanksgiving and praise.

Listen up

Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. Romans 10:17

If you want to have big belief in Jesus, listen up to the Word of God. Faith grows as we hear Jesus’ words of life. Our spirits soak up the Word of God and we grow as people of faith. What are you believing for in the Lord? Maybe you could listen to an encouraging message or read the straight Word of God.

Thanks Jesus, help me grow in faith as I hear you Lord.

The anchor

Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10

When we are not relying on our own strength, rather on the Lord, that helps us take everything in our stride. Being weak becomes a strength. The Lord delights in us as His children and in all we go through, God is like the anchor for our souls, keeping us stable regardless of life’s circumstances.

Jesus, thanks for keeping me in every season of life.

Knowing Jesus

Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. Luke 14:27

Being Jesus’ disciple involves following Him and carrying your own cross. For the sake of knowing Jesus, everything is worthwhile. What a fellowship to talk with the Holy Spirit! Grateful for the love of God and the walk of faith, in which the mercy of God is new every morning.

Lord Jesus, I want to follow you wholeheartedly for you are my God.

Being at peace

How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose hope is in the Lord his God. Psalm 146:5

Where do you go to find the help you need? Those who go to the Lord for our needs, are blessed, the scripture declares. If we can put our hope in God, we will find our lives being at peace. Walking with the Lord becomes our go to. He leads us in mercy and truth.

Rest for our souls

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30

Jesus wants to take our burdens as we go to Him. Jesus is gentle and humble and He wants us to learn from Him. God has rest for our souls as we are learning from Jesus. What Jesus expects us to carry, his yoke, is easy and his burden isn’t wearisome, it is light. What is something in your walk that God is teaching you at the moment? As we learn from Jesus the burden is less and the tether is light.

Lord Jesus, I love you and I want to go to you each day, I want to learn from you very much.

Hope in the Lord

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

We can run out of energy and become weary, yet if waiting on the Lord you find renewed strength. Have you seen an eagle flying effortlessly through the skies? The Bible says that’s what we can be like as we hope in the Lord. Setting our hopes on Jesus each day is what makes all the difference.

Thanks Lord for your presence. Help me to set my hope on you as you are my everything.

God has the wisdom

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5

It’s easy to go to Google for any question you might have. Even better to go to the Lord. For every area of our lives, God has the wisdom that we need all for the asking. Thankful for the Holy Spirit. When you seek the Lord for wisdom, He can drop keys in to your spirit that can help practically. What could you ask God for wisdom today?

Thanks Jesus for helping me with practical knowledge. Help me go to you Lord.

Loved by the Lord

I will sing of the Lord’s unfailing love forever. Psalm 89:1

Knowing you are loved by the Lord is foundational to our faith. The love of God is life changing. Like being under a waterfall that never ends, the love of God pours out continually. As we are open to listening to the Holy Spirit, we can hear whispers of the Lord’s love.

Hope in God

I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and mire. Psalm 40:1, 2

God answers prayer. Sometimes we need to wait patiently and be diligent and continue to pray. Have you ever felt like you needed God that much? When you are in a hard place, God is there to catch you and steady you. He can lift you above your circumstances. Allow your hope to rest in the faith you have in God today in that He cares more for you than you know.

Lord Jesus, thanks for your presence that’s a constant blessing and that you hear and answer prayer. You are our comforter.

Passion for Jesus

For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God's people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. Ephesians 1:15,16

When you are amazed by the love people have for Jesus and God’s people, gratefulness happens. Passion for Jesus stands out. Your prayers make a real difference and have an impact on lives you pray for. Who can you remember to pray for today?

Lovingkindness

For your lovingkindness is great above the heavens, And Your truth reaches to the skies. Psalm 108:4

How great is the Lord’s lovingkindness?! Truth that shines up to the skies. Do you ever survey the heavens and think of how the Lord loves each one of us. Love that’s complete and whole. Love that can take us from loneliness to fellowship, from disappointment to successful living. He takes us where we are at with kindness and teaches us that we are seated with Christ in heavenly places.

Praise you Lord. Your love and truth finds me where I am and takes me closer to you.

Rise up

This is the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face- even Jacob. Selah. Psalm 24:6

As you go to seek the face of the Lord, you can cause momentum, as a generation of people that rise up and seek Jesus. How excited the Lord must be to hear us as we follow after Him. So don’t hold back, push everything aside as you go after the Lord. What moments can you catch today that would impact your relationship with Jesus? It is not just for all God can do, it is for all He is that we seek him. Praise acclaims God and draws us near to Him. When our lives seek His face we make a generational ripple effect.

Thanks Jesus for who you are to me. Help me hunger after you and seek your face every day.
