Jesus’ love

I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38,39.

Praise God for Jesus’ love. That nothing can separate us from the love of God is great comfort. During your day, you can know that Jesus is thinking of you. What a wonderful God we serve. Always with you, ever faithful.

Hope in Jesus

We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice for we trust in His holy name. Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone. Psalm 33:20-22

The Lord is our help and shield. Gratefulness that in Jesus is our hope. Whatever the season of life, God is there. When you take a step closer to Jesus, He draws close to you. The one that made the planets and earth, cares about each one of us.

Thanks Jesus for who you are, praying your unfailing love surrounds us.

Praise

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing unto your name, O most high. Psalm 92:1

As we sing to the Lord and praise Jesus, the scripture reminds us that is good. When you have that idea to praise, what a blessing to give thanks. That can be as you walk along, in your car or wherever you are. Just begin and what will follow is wonderful melodies to the Lord.

Lord Jesus, I love to bring you praise. Thankyou for who you are Lord.

Friendship

As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend. Proverbs 27:17

Gratefulness for friendships that cause you to sharpen up and be better in life. Everyday life is meant for community because, together we can do more good. That friendship with Jesus is the greatest of all. What has God ministered to you of late in your daily walk?

Thanks Jesus for everything you are that you are the close friend that sharpens. Help me live well in community and build quality friendships.

Jesus’ words

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:7

Living in Christ is the place of miracles. What can you believe for today? Keeping on listening to the Word builds faith. Every verse is God breathed and heaven sent. Is there a passage of scripture that has blessed you recently?

Rejoicing in God

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness. Isaiah 61:10

Being saved is something worthwhile rejoicing in the Lord. That Jesus has clothed us with garments of salvation and the robe of righteousness. How good to be set apart for God. We are made right in God because of Jesus. Praise the Lord.

Thank you Lord Jesus, for your salvation is very great.

Praise Jesus

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him! Bless his name! Psalm 100:4

There is a way to enter the presence of God, praise and worship. Praise Jesus for time in his presence. Each day as you give thanks and bless the Lord what your doing is preparing a way forward in the presence of God. That’s a good plan of closeness to Jesus. As you begin to praise Jesus, such great characteristics of his greatness you can declare. The atmosphere can change as you praise the Lord.

Intercession

Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered.

Romans 8:26

In our weakness, we don’t know exactly what to pray. Thank God for the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit steps in our place to make intercession for us according to the will of God. Praying in the Spirit is building up your inner life in Jesus.

Lord Jesus, thanks for your help in intercession. I want to be ever closer to you Holy Spirit.

Covenant keepers

All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenant and testimonies. Psalm 25:10

How wonderful to walk with Jesus. Just as He is a covenant keeping God, we can keep covenant with Him also. There is sometimes a battle for our hearts attention and all our love belongs to Jesus. Gratefulness for every new day of knowing the Lord.

Praise Jesus

Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! Psalm 146:1

The psalmist encourages himself to praise the Lord. That’s something that we can do that can build up our faith. Praising the Lord will cause us to put good priorities in place. When Jesus is lifted up in our lives there is also less distraction.

Bless you Lord. Help me remember to praise you Lord, because I love you very much.

Working together for good

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

Being thankful helps you be more aware of the good. The Scripture reminds us that everything is working together for good to those who love God and called of God. If you have a minute, think of some of the good that has happened in your day. God is good, amen.

Praise you Jesus, you are my Lord and Shepherd. Help me remember you are causing everything to work for the good.

Hope in Jesus

For you light my lamp; the Lord illumines my darkness. Psalm 18:28

Hope in the Lord is like a lit candle. Wherever you go you have heaven in your heart. Jesus is the light of the world and knowing Him is a great comfort. That his presence is with us is more wonderful than words can articulate. If it wasn’t for the Lord, where would we be? How has Jesus lit up your life?

Abide

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:7

Living in Christ Jesus is not a once off, that’s a daily walk. Thank God that as we dwell in Him, our prayers are heard and answered! Jesus, as the vine and we being the branches depicts the dependence we have on the Lord. Without Jesus, we can’t be fruitful; yet with Him, the Scripture explains we can have much fruit.

Lord Jesus, help me keep that dependence apon you. I need you more than I even know.

Believer’s peace

The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. Psalm 29:11

The Lord is the strength of our lives. As believers, we can lean on the Lord for peace and strength. What can you ask of the Lord today? He has everything we need. Instead of worry, you can have the Lord’s peace. Instead of being weary, you can find strength in the Lord.

Love of God

We have come to know have believed the love which God has for us, God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. 1John 4:16

God is love. As we get to know God, we realise how loving He is. God wants us to abide in His love. When you live in the love of God, then God abides in you. Thankful that God’s love is real and that we can really know Him.

Purpose in praise

Every day I will bless You, and I will praise your name forever and ever. Psalm 145:2

There is purpose in praise. In the everyday, blessing the Lord becomes the centre of our lives. When worshipping Jesus, our priorities are set in order. You can write about praise, sing a song of thanksgiving, listen to worship music. In what way can you bless Jesus today?

Encounter with Jesus

Then the Lord passed by in front of him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth;

Exodus 34:6

At times when you have an encounter with God, that’s life changing because you learn more about the character of God. When the Lord God passed before Moses, he quickly bowed low and worshipped God. Like Moses, we can make time and space for God, and be changed and be awestruck.

Peace and rest

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1

When you live close to Jesus, you are kept safe in the Lord. Instead of worry you can have peace, instead of fear you can have love of the Holy Spirit. There is a shelter that God wants us to dwell in, the shelter of the most High. You will be at peace and at rest near to God.

Praise Jesus for the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
